Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Dockit mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Dockit Is

Dockit is an SSH client that connects directly from your iPhone to your own Docker hosts to list and control containers, images, volumes, and networks, and to read container logs. Dockit is a tool you point at infrastructure you control. It is not a hosting provider, and it does not run any server that your data passes through.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the hosts you connect to and for having the authority to access and manage them.
  • You are responsible for the commands you run. Actions such as stopping or removing a container take effect on your host and can result in data loss or downtime. Dockit executes what you ask it to.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device and your SSH credentials secure.
  • You must not use the App to access systems you are not authorized to access.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Dockit offers optional paid features through Dockit Pro. The free tier lets you monitor a single host in a view-only mode. Dockit Pro unlocks unlimited hosts, full container control, and faster stat refresh.

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account.
  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
  • Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. You use the App at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, downtime, or damage to systems, arising from your use of the App, including from commands you execute against your hosts. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Changes to the App

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may revise these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page or within the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Let’s ship it.

I take on a couple of client projects at a time alongside my own apps. Tappable prototype in about a week, App Store in weeks not months.
