Building both is one shared React Native codebase, which is why it costs less than two separate apps. Prices cover a focused v1; unusually large scope gets quoted upfront before any work starts.

In the box

What every build includes.

Same spec whichever platform you pick. This is the full job, not a starter tier with the real work hidden behind add-ons.

Design included

I design the app myself. No separate designer, no handoff gaps. Screens, app icon, the lot.

Prototype in a week

One-page brief, then a tappable build on your real phone within the first week. Short weekly drops after that.

Firebase backend

Auth, Firestore, and Storage, with security rules scoped per user from day one. No open databases.

Sensitive work server-side

Cloud Functions for anything that should not live on a phone: AI calls, account deletion, purchase checks.

AI features

OpenAI wired in where the app actually needs it. Grounded and useful, not bolted on for show.

Subscriptions, if you charge

RevenueCat set up for in-app purchases and subscriptions when the app is paid. Skipped when it is free.

Legal pages, done honestly

Privacy policy, terms, and a support page, hosted for you. Account deletion that genuinely deletes.

You own everything

The Expo project, the Firebase project, and the store listings all sit under your accounts. No lock-in to me.

FAQ

Money questions.

The honest answers. Anything else, just ask.

Start a project
What does the price actually cover?+

A focused v1: design, the React Native + Expo build, a Firebase backend, the legal pages, and store submission. One reasonable round of revision is in there too. Genuinely heavy scope (real-time multiplayer, a deep AI pipeline, a large multi-role app) gets scoped and quoted separately, and I’ll tell you upfront if your idea is in that bracket.

How does payment work?+

Flat, one-time price. 50% upfront to start, the balance on store submission. No hourly billing, no surprise line items.

How long does a build take?+

A tappable prototype is on your phone within the first week. A typical v1 lands in roughly four to ten weeks depending on how much the app does. You see a new build every week, so nothing is a black box.

Will I own everything?+

Yes. The Expo project, the Firebase project, and the App Store / Play Store listings are all under your accounts. The source is yours.

What about running costs?+

Most apps sit comfortably on Firebase’s free or pay-as-you-go tier. I’ll forecast the monthly infrastructure cost before you commit to anything.

What happens after launch?+

New features, AI experiments, and store updates are ongoing work, handled on a simple monthly retainer. Optional, and easiest to just talk through once v1 is live.

Do you take equity instead of cash?+

Occasionally, for the right project, as part of the mix, not as the whole fee. Easiest to talk it through.
