Quick help

The fastest path through MockFrame’s main features. If you can’t find what you need here, scroll on to the FAQ or just email.

Picking a device

Open MockFrame and tap iPhone, iPad, Watch, or Mac at the bottom, then choose a model. There's no account to create, just start framing.

Adding your screenshot

Tap the device on the canvas to open your photo library, pick an image, and it drops straight into the frame. Pinch and drag to resize and reposition it.

Backgrounds and layout

The Background tab has solid colors and gradients, or pick None for a transparent export. Layout controls let you scale, rotate, and add a drop shadow.

Choosing a canvas size

Canvas presets match what App Store Connect expects for 6.9", 6.5", and 13" iPad screenshots, plus square, portrait, story, and landscape sizes for social posts.

Exporting

Tap Export, then Save to Photos or Share. Every export renders at the exact pixel size of the canvas preset you picked, no upscaling or cropping.

Privacy

MockFrame has no account and no servers. Your screenshots, mockups, and settings stay on your phone. There's no analytics SDK anywhere in the app.

Your data

Everything MockFrame stores lives in local app storage. Delete the app and all of it, your current project and settings, is gone with it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account?+

No. MockFrame has no sign-up and no cloud account. Open the app and start building a mockup immediately. Everything stays on your phone.

How do I import a screenshot?+

Tap the device shown on the canvas. MockFrame opens your photo library so you can pick an image, which drops straight into the current device frame. You can swap it at any time.

How many devices does MockFrame support?+

59 real devices across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, including current models and classics back to the iPhone 8. The free tier includes 5 devices; MockFrame Pro unlocks all of them, plus every new device that ships.

Are the device frames real Apple artwork?+

Current-generation devices use genuine bezel artwork sourced from Apple's own Design Resources. A handful of older, discontinued models use a crafted illustrated frame instead, built to match the real device's proportions closely.

What sizes can I export?+

Presets cover App Store Connect's screenshot requirements (6.9", 6.5", and 13" iPad), plus Square, Portrait 4:5, Story 9:16, and Landscape 16:9 for social media. Every export is a pixel-exact PNG at that preset's exact resolution.

Why does my export have a watermark?+

Free exports carry a small "Made with MockFrame" watermark in the corner. Upgrade to MockFrame Pro to remove it from every export, past and future.

What does MockFrame Pro include and what does it cost?+

Pro unlocks all 59 devices, the full background library, and removes the watermark. It's sold in three plans through the App Store: Monthly ($2.99), Yearly ($14.99, best value), and a one-time Lifetime purchase ($29.99). Current prices in the app are set per region by Apple.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, then MockFrame. From there you can switch plans or cancel. You can also tap Manage subscription in MockFrame's own Settings screen. (Lifetime is a one-time purchase and doesn't renew.)

I bought Pro on another device. How do I restore it?+

Open Settings inside MockFrame and tap Restore purchases. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID, your purchase is restored instantly. If it still doesn't show, email support@moetalaat.com.

Does my screenshot or mockup ever get uploaded anywhere?+

No. Importing, arranging, and exporting all happen locally on your device. MockFrame has no server to upload to, and no analytics SDK that would send data anywhere.

Can I use MockFrame on iPad or Android?+

MockFrame runs on iPhone only, in portrait. That's separate from what you can create with it: you can still build iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac mockups from your iPhone, since the mockup device is just a frame around your screenshot, not the device running the app.

How do I delete my data?+

Delete MockFrame from your phone. Since everything, your current project, settings, and any cached screenshot, is stored only in local app storage, removing the app removes all of it immediately.
