Quick help
Connecting a host
Open Dockit, tap Add host, and enter your host's address or IP, port, username, and either a password or an SSH key. There's no account to create. Dockit connects straight over SSH to any Linux box running Docker.
The container list
Once connected, the Containers tab shows every container with live CPU and memory sparklines, status, ports, and uptime. Filter by running or stopped, and tap any container for the full detail view.
Controlling containers
From a container's detail screen, start, stop, restart, or remove it. Actions run over SSH on your host and take effect immediately. Container control is a Dockit Pro feature.
Live logs
Open any running container to follow its logs in real time. The log view streams new output and auto-scrolls, so you can watch what a container is doing from your phone.
Images, volumes, networks
The Images and Resources tabs list pulled images with sizes, volumes with mount points, and every Docker network on the host. Pull to refresh any list.
App lock
Turn on a PIN and Face ID / Touch ID in Settings → Security to lock the app. Set an auto-lock timeout so Dockit re-locks after time in the background.
Docker permissions
If commands fail with a permission error, the SSH user isn't in the docker group. On the host, run: sudo usermod -aG docker $USER, then reconnect.
Deleting your data
Remove a host from Settings → Hosts and its saved password is deleted from your device's Keychain immediately. Delete the app to remove everything.
Dockit is iPhone only, iOS 17 or later. It uses a direct SSH connection to your host, so it needs to reach that host over your network or the internet.
